'A German with a dream'

Hans worked on Volkswagen's and taught others for 24 years in the Portland Or. area, but always wanted to own his own auto repair business. On May 23, 1984 that dream came true. The doors of Hans' Foreign Auto Service Inc. opened on Glisan street in Portland. Hans, his wife Dianna, their son Mark, and daughter Teresa were the original crew. Hans worked alone for the first 20 years, had help for about 7 years, and then semi retired. Now 27 years after opening his own business Hans has retired, and his daughter Teresa has taken over with a recently new expansion. She has two certified technicians and one service writer specializing in Volkswagen. Zach and Cameron are experts in their field and most repairs can be done in one day. We are a good alternative to the dealership for full auto service repair and can now take care of your air conditioning needs as well. Our hours are Monday thru Friday: 8:00a.m. to 5:30p.m.
